Not Radical Enough: The Left Devours Its Own as Pro-Palestinian Mob Ambushes Democrat at Town Hall

This is what happens to progressives when they aren’t radical or anti-Semitic enough for the fringe Left.

Rep. Sean Casten (D-IL) is certainly not conservative. He hates Republicans, and he despises Elon Musk, but he evidently doesn’t hate Israel enough to appease the pro-Palestinian faction of his base at a town hall last week.

A Democratic congressman gets a taste of the Left’s unhinged hate

On Wednesday, he got a taste of the unhinged Jew-hatred on the Left, and it was just one of a number of disturbances that happened at congressional events during the week. At least one of them turned violent.

“That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. You are the most soulless piece of crap I have ever seen,” a pro-Palestinian protester shouted at Casten his town hall in Downers Grove, Illinois, according to CNN.

There were a number of protesters who interrupted the town hall. All of them had to do with Israel and the war in Gaza.

“What you’re saying is I’m not going to get my way when my people are being slaughtered, and I want you to stop funding that,” one person angrily shouted before jumping on the stage where Casten was speaking.

“If you would like to run for office, run for office,” Casten snapped at the individual, according to Fox News.

A woman then stormed toward the state with a video camera, yelling at the Democratic congressman,

“People did not come here to hear you,” Casten testily informed her. “Show some respect for the people in this district.”

A pro-Israel attendee also confronted Casten and you guessed it… at that point, police were called to the scene, and the town hall was dispersed.

“A small group of individuals have attended multiple of Rep. Casten’s events with the sole intent of disrupting and shutting down the event, preventing constituents from being able to participate and engage in the democratic process,” a spokesperson for the congressman told Fox News Digital in a statement. 

“Rep. Casten is proud to have successfully hosted a half dozen town halls and community meetings so far this year and will continue to find ways to productively engage with his constituents,” the spokesperson added.

Leftists go on a rampage and it’s turning violent

Leftists are attacking their own as well as Republicans. They are mad at everyone because they aren’t getting their way on a number of fronts.

“An event hosted by Rep. Glenn Ivey, D-Md., on Tuesday saw several interruptions from constituents, who told the congressman to ‘fight’ and ‘show some of the backbone and strategic brilliance that Mitch McConnell would have in the minority,’” Fox News reported.

Rep. Mike Flood (R-NE) was also on the receiving end of angry attacks when he was besieged by hecklers who booed him when he dared praise the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and Elon Musk.

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) was also torn into by leftists at a private luncheon hosted by the Rockland Business Association on Thursday as he also praised cost-cutting measures by conservatives. The confrontation got violent.

A Fox News Digital video shows the confrontation taking place. The protesters bought tickets to the event so they could harass Lawler by screaming, “Lawless Lawler,” while brandishing a sign that declared he was “Elon’s Puppet.”

Then, it got physical as protesters and attendees wrestled and shoved one another.

Lawler’s team is pointing the finger at Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who called for sending Democrats to Republican districts to protest their policies and make them “face the consequences.”

“We are mobilizing in New York. We have people going to the Republican districts and going after these Republicans who are voting for this and forcing them to either change their vote or face the consequences,” Schumer proudly proclaimed on PBS.

“This is a long, relentless fight that we fight every day. And I am confident that we will bring Trump’s popularity, numbers and strength down if we keep at it, and keep at it, and keep at it,” he incited.

“It’s outrageous that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is inciting far-left activists to harass and intimidate Republican members of Congress,” Ciro Riccardi, communications director for Lawler, told Fox News Digital in an interview.

“Earlier that day, a bipartisan Rockland Business Association luncheon was violently disrupted by protesters, including known provocateur Walter Masterson from Brooklyn,” Riccardi noted in a statement.

“They assaulted multiple seniors in the process of reading from scripted remarks on their phones. Are these the kinds of ‘consequences’ Schumer is endorsing?” Riccardi asked.

The Left gets its violence on

Between the powder keg that town halls have become thanks to astroturfed leftists and the violence exploding around Elon Musk’s Tesla company, things are heating up rapidly, and the violence is spreading.

Dozens of Tesla cars were damaged in Ontario, Canada, on March 18, according to Fox News. That included deep scratches and punctured tires.

Five Tesla vehicles were also set ablaze and shot at a local repair center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. There have been incidents of keying and other vandalism to Tesla vehicles across the nation as well. According to the FBI, they have occurred in at least nine states.

FAFO – Trump and Bondi brand it domestic terrorism

The attacks are being treated as domestic terrorism by the Trump administration as they should be.

“On Thursday, the DOJ announced that three individuals were charged in connection with the ‘violent destruction of Tesla properties.’ The defendants face charges that carry a minimum penalty of 5 years in prison, but could face up to 20 years behind bars,” Fox News reported.

“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a DOJ statement. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”

If President Trump gets his way, perpetrators will find themselves in an El Salvadoran hell hole for 20 years for domestic terrorism. A sentiment that makes many warm and fuzzy inside.

“I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!”
