There’s an episode of The Twilight Zone that has haunted me since childhood. In it, Henry Bemis, an average dude with a mundane life but a deep passion for reading, faces a harrowing fate that still chills me to the core. He loved reading so much, in fact, that the real world and human interactions were, to him, just nuisances he had to deal with until he could get back to the warm embrace of his books. He even began to detest his wife, his boss, and his fellow man for being the obstacles keeping him from spending his every moment reading. One day, while eating lunch inside the vault of the bank where he works, an H-bomb is detonated, you know, as will happen from time to time. The bank vault has kept Henry safe, but when he emerges, he realizes there are no other survivors. At first he is overcome with grief and readies to kill himself with a revolver he finds. Just as he’s just about to pull the trigger, though, he sees the ruins of a public library off in the distance. Henry is beside himself. Finally, all the books he can read, and not a single person left to distract him. All his sorrows about being the last man on earth are at once replaced with pure joy and excitement. Can you guess what happens next?
Moving Forward
First, I want to apologize for my recent absence. I needed some time to process everything and collect myself, and frankly, I had no words to express what I was going through. Nor could I honestly come out and say, “Don’t worry about me, guys. I’ll be fine and I’ll be back.” I’ve both seen and heard some of you express concern for me or show that you care about and support me. That has been so meaningful to me that I can’t even tell you. But I do owe you not staying in the shadows. I made a promise that I would never abandon my post trying to help, no matter what. I’ve even quite brazenly stated the only thing that could ever stop me was if I were dead. Well, as luck would have it, here I am. Still with air in my lungs.
Philostophy
In recent years, we have witnessed a significant shift in the collective consciousness, as people from all walks of life are beginning to question the status quo and search for deeper meaning in their lives. This phenomenon, often referred to as The Great Awakening, has seen individuals from all corners of the world seeking out the truth and challenging accepted narratives that have long dictated our thoughts and actions.
Clash of the Media Titans
Yesterday Elon Musk announced he’s filing a “thermonuclear” lawsuit against Media Matters over their report released Thursday that accused X (Twitter) of placing ads for brands next to pro-nazi and “white-pride” posts. The report caused several massive companies to pull their ads from X, including IBM, Disney, Apple, Amazon, Oracle, Comcast/NBC Universal and more.
Level Up
Maybe we’ll never be “given” the full truth. I don’t think The Great Awakening is about exposing the truth out into the open as much as it’s about leveling up our intuition to see through the lies. The Kate Awakening is a reader-supported publication. Task Failed Successfully
I know people have been waiting for me to refute the allegations made about me the week of Thanksgiving. Because of the serious nature of these false claims, I immediately sought legal counsel and was advised that this was in fact a civil and criminal matter that we could press forward with. I needed to get a few things in the works before making a public statement.

Life Lessons From Bugs Bunny
When I was a kid my dad used to watch cartoons with me, he loved them as much as I did. Our favorite was Bugs Bunny. My dad loved him because he was a winner. No one ever got to Bugs, he was cool, calm, witty, and always came out on top.The Kate Awakening is a reader-supported publication. Read Between the Whines
You want to know how I know things actually aren’t that bad right now? Because of the frivolous bull honky some people have the time and will to complain about. I’m in a unique position between a constant barrage of doomers telling me our country is over and we’re all gonna die, and people complaining about literally THE dumbest shit. Apparently I touch my hair too much during my livestreams and this is reprehensible to some who feel the need to tell me so in the comments of every single stream I do. I get endless commentary about my looks (“good,” bad, and MEAN). People grouse when I mispronounce a word, which happens often because I have no real-life human interaction where I would hear a word out loud. I thought Reuters was pronounced “roo-ters” and don’t even get me started on “gubernatorial” or “Tanzania.” I somehow simultaneously talk too much and not enough during The Liberty Den. Today this guy went out of his way to find my account on Telegram and send this.
